The first business
Mr. Balbir Singh Sharma starts a business supplying plastic raw material.

The first plant is installed in Mumbai and comes through trial and testing successfully.
1995
Vansh Polyvinyl is founded
The PVC business passes to Mr. Mukesh Sharma, son of Mr. Balbir Singh Sharma, who establishes Vansh Polyvinyl Pvt. Ltd. with a small workforce.

Learning the whole line
Mr. Mukesh Sharma takes on the whole of plastic manufacturing himself: sourcing raw material, setting up the machines, running the stock.

A name people knew
Steady quality and goodwill earn Vansh Polyvinyl real market space and a brand name customers start to recognise.

A logo of its own
Mr. Mukesh Sharma creates a brand logo, so the company has an identity people can put a name to.

The move to Daman
Sales growth means more hands and more space. The factory moves to a larger unit in Daman, with the office staying in Mumbai.
2010
The lantern years
Lantern demand is booming, and Vansh Polyvinyl is the only maker of plastic lantern PVC with the shinier finish. Cheaper and better looking, it takes about 98% of the Indian lantern market.

With that reach, the company begins supplying thermoforming material to large multinationals.

A bigger plant
Business outgrows the unit again. Vansh Polyvinyl moves to a larger site in Daman, where it still manufactures today.

A dedicated team keeps pace with what the market asks for, and the business extends into home interiors.

The range widens beyond PVC into other plastic lines, and the company keeps investing in research and development.
